In recognition of his leadership and social impact, Thejitha was awarded the prestigious Queen’s Young Leader Award (2015) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace, England. He has also received the Best Youth Worker Award (2013) and the Best Social Worker ‘Susewabhimani’ Award (2016).
